BOWL FOR BELONGING!
Communities of Belonging is partnering with Just Us Solutions and Interaction Transition for the inaugural Bowl for Belonging on November 15th. We’ll be renting out the entire Kent Bowl for an adult bowling afternoon dedicated to second chances, connection, and celebration!
We’re calling on 100 people to buy a $35 ticket by October 8th so we can secure all lanes of Kent Bowl for a full private rental, cover the food, and make this event possible! All reentry community and allies are invited. Bring your friends, 18-and-over-family, and energy. Let’s pack the place with community spirit!
This gathering is more than just a game. It’s a symbol of the strikes we overcome and the new frames we get to write in life. Together, we’re creating joyful moments, building bridges for successful reentry, and showing that hope is on the horizon.
If you aren’t able to join that day, we welcome your sponsorship or donation of any amount.

Join a Community Workshop
These special gatherings are a powerful way to build trust in ourselves and each other, enjoy play and levity, and explore meaningful topics. Participants of our most recent workshop chose a focus of “Navigating Grief Through Uncertainty.”
Our community workshops use Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) curriculum which include the opportunity to gather in circle, join authentic conversations, and use small group problem solving, all of which build resilience and promote trauma healing. Join us in creating safer, more connected communities!
Stay tuned for upcoming workshops! Questions? Contact Us.
Join a Community Circle
We hold weekly zoom community circles on Tuesday evenings with a mix of justice-involved individuals and community allies. These are times of mindfulness, sharing, resources and fun! You are welcome to drop in any week, with no commitment or cost.
Our next in-person potluck dinner and community circle is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16th from 6-8 PM.

Join an Open House at our Restorative Home
We provide regular opportunities for community partners, reentry organizations, and housing placement agencies to visit our Restorative Home. We’re proud of our program and want you to meet our members! Contact us for details about our next open house.
Join a Community Conversation
These special events include personal stories shared by our members about the challenges they’ve faced emerging from incarceration, homelessness and addiction. They’re designed to educate, inspire and catalyze action.

“Everyone deserves to have a safe space to live and not be judged, where they feel welcomed, and are able to feel like they belong. I always try to support space for growth and learning so that everyone can have the chance to learn and grow with others who can help broaden their views.”
